Travel | Nashville

This city has charmed me for a long time. It’s where I anticipated I’d land after New York. You know, because I made most of my crucial life decisions for the unborn children that I might have one day and I felt Nashville offered successful options for both the creative and the business type of a person. I digress. My cousin turned sister lives there now, and when I visit, she takes me to all the cute places. She gets credit for most of these finds. My girl. Everyone say together, thanks Lauren.

EAST NASHVILLE

Nashville is divided into distinct neighborhoods: Downtown, East, Hermitage, Germantown, and 12 South. Places like Franklin are nearby but a further drive.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner doesn’t matter. Head to Cafe Roze.
I didn’t go to Schulmans, but the neighbors say it’s loud and sounds like a wild time. The kids say, it’s the most fun and they’re semi-sorry for the noise.
LOU - Brekky. Good for a cup of coffee; there are no espresso machines here, which feels old-timey and kind. They have an alternate Bloody Mary made of sparkling wine, and I’m oddly into it. The food is very good.
This restaurant ranks in the top three meals OF MY LIFE. If you know me personally, you know how much food I’ve consumed in my life. You must get the Chicken & Dumplings.

Folk - Such a classic. You can never go wrong. The menu changes often. Everything is perfect.

12 SOUTH

Imogene Willie was one of my first Instagram followers, and I’ve never looked back. It always strikes me. A special, American made treat.

Jenni Kayne.

Frothy Monkey

FRANKLIN

This antique mall is good.
Estate Sales in this area.

GERMANTOWN

Spread. - My heart in a building.

I’ll update this over time. There are a few more places I want to add.
Stay tuned.
xx - k
